3D of the city Cont.


More of the city, the colored checker texture will help with applying real textures and help identify what model will be built in the place of it.

UDK is confirmed as the engine we will use to build our game.

3D rendering of what the city map should look like. This will become a template when we are done with it for the creation of the large City in our game. It is not the final design for the city but its boarder is solid and only the layout inside may change.

Mapping


On my way to Dallas Tx. had time to map out most of our world or the playable area minus the levels.
Again it is a rather small game but its coming together like one of those big ones hundreds of people offer their work to. On the map Key areas are laid out for the player to wonder threw with minimal enemy contact, those areas are Market, Middle Class District, Grave Yard (this one might have more enemies than other places though), The platform to the castle,and the Church. This is not a final map Its all still in the rough but progress is progress.

Character #3 Kristen



Art drawn by a skilled artist. We actually idealized this character based on her and decided to ask for her participation in our game, to our surprise a yes was replied. We gave her the task to develop how her own character would look as she will be playing her for project gear.
This is Kristen, she works as a high ranked guard for the Church. These guards, otherwise know as a Gearshifter, can control many aspects of the steam and gear reality in order to protect the Church and the Throne from threat, but her roll will change as she apprehends the Player and find out there is more to world than she once knew.

Linux? and recommended system requirements.

It has been brought up numerous times in discussion on what the game will be 
supported on and I can say that Linux versions may be released of project gear.
Building for Linux will open the game up to many more people, It is expected to 
have full support on Windows 7 and several of the Popular Linux Operating Systems
such as Ubuntu and Debian But may or may not be supported on OSX Based PCs 
such as macs, macbooks, and home built PCs running the OSX software, the game 
will not have any support for Single thread (core) processor computers. There is no 
Windows 8 support.

System Requirements
OS: Linux Based or Windows7
GPU: nVidia GTX 550ti or nVidia GT 640 and up
Intel 5000 series (extreamly not recomended)
ATI Radeon 7770 and up
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4, FX 6350, or A8 6500
Intel i5 gen2 or Intel i5 gen3 
Or a CPU equivalent or greater
RAM: DDR3 4 to 8 GB range is required
Direct X: 10, 11.1 recommended.

These may change as the game develops.
Expect Crossfire X support and up to 6 cores used to boost game performance.
Hyperthread CPUs in Intel's 4th gen i Series CPUs are extremely not recommended.

And it comes from the void.


And the First of 20 different enemies for project gear has been captured on paper
with 20 different enemies and 5 different bosses you seem to get that this is a short game.
It is we have 14 months to turn our SteamPunk idea into a videogame and here is where 
it's going down. More pictures of World overview and enemies will be on the way with 
story boarding moving along at a wonderful pace. There will be more than 25 characters
in the making like NPCs and The Player along side designs of some characters may
not be used in this game but most concept art will be posted.
